Tower of Hell RB

The now-removed portal to the RB battles tower seen in a private server

Tower of Hell RB was the Tower of Hell game mode for only the RB Battles Event and for players to obtain the RB Battles Championship badge.

Each tower of hell RB server contained a portal to pro towers beneath the starting platform.

Prior to March 3rd, 2023, the player could access Tower of Hell RB servers by touching the white portal to the right of the starting ladder in noob towers, pro towers, or private servers.

Alternatively, the player could head directly to the game link, select "servers" and join a server.

Tower Format

The tower format was consistent across all servers in the game. It began with the start section at the bottom, one vanilla section above it, and then a secret section that splitted the tower into three paths. Two of the paths went horizontally, with each side having two horizontal sections, followed by a secret section that bent the tower 90 degrees back to vertical, two more vanilla sections, and then a finish section variant that held one of the three halo pieces. The last path was a vertical path directly above the start section with two vanilla sections, a different end section variant that held the third halo piece, two more vanilla sections, and then an end section variant that had a big door that required all halo pieces to unlock.

Tower of Hell RB Private Servers

Prior to March 3rd, 2023, touching the RB Battles portal in a private server would take you to a Tower of Hell RB private server, instead of a public server. Compared to the public servers, Tower of Hell RB private servers did not have a timer. Due to this, there were no rounds, unlike public servers and much like The Tower of Hell. The icons of any activated mutators were not displayed beneath where the timer would normally be either.

RB Battles Competition

The game was used for one of the RB Battles competitions on December 14th, 2022. Pinkleaf and Jackeryz raced to collect all the halo pieces, unlock the big door at the top, and touch the white door at the end in the fastest time. Pinkleaf won the battle.

Trivia

• This was the first Tower of Hell game mode to feature horizontal sections.
• This was the second Tower of Hell game mode to feature secret sections with a guaranteed spawn in every round, the first being the now removed THE Tower of Hell.
• The RB Battles portal was initially not in Pro Towers when the Tower of Hell RB gamemode was released. It was added at a later time, most likely to make server hopping quicker.
• According to uwuPyxl, the tower format was going to feature more sections, but they have been told to nerf it. This was most likely due to prevent complaints and/or allow more non skilled players to obtain the badge.
• In addition to the 2 guaranteed secret sections that spawned in the tower, it was possible for secret sections to spawn in the place of a vanilla section as well.
• Tower of Hell RB lacked:
  • The Christmas 2022 event additions: the snowman, mini Pyx, and the falling snow particles.
  • The progress bar on the right. This was most likely due to the progress bar rendering the horizontal sections improperly.
  • The double coins and lengthen mutators in the shop.
  • The timer and the images of active mutators (Private Servers only).
